Beated guy - Bust sculpt.

This was a commission from the past week that i really enjoyed, the style, the expression and the fact i got to try something new was pretty cool. Colors are a real game changer when it comes to present some of your work.

this was the reference provided by the client to turn into a bust sculpt. there are some small issues but overall understood the style and vibe he was looking for.

this was the first iteration, a sketch made to replicate the rought shape of the model base on the expression of the character and taking some point a bit literal to check for adjustments later.

at this point the client adjustments to add volume and soften some surfaces.

this is a side by side of the first iteration corrected in the head, although it would require a bit more refinement

these where the small corrections requested, adjust the teeth to be more inside the mouth, and adjust the back to have a more natural arch and simplified muscles, also some tiny adjust in the bottom of the chin and the jaw

these below were the renders of the colored version, i toock a quick and simpler approach, the focus wasn't to be as precise as the reference because the client only wanted the model to print and dint needed colored.

I still make the coloured version to try since i've never used polypaint. My work as been focused more into miniatures, figures and sculpt so i never thought on painting.

All in all, I'm pretty much happy with results as well as the client, and from now on I'll try to paint more the sculpt since it can give more life and depth to the work already done
